Jump to classes offered

STEP is a series of twelve workshops for supervisors designed to build capacity to manage, plan for performance, improve performance, and respond to workplace challenges.

STEP participants develop and practice management skills, build self-confidence in responding to the demands of supervising, increase their understanding of Ohio State's policies and procedures, and network with other supervisors on campus.

To enroll in STEP, download and complete an enrollment form and return to OHRC. You may register for individual workshops even if you do not enroll in the full STEP series. STEP participants must register for each workshop they plan to attend.

To successfully complete the series and receive a certificate of recognition, participants must attend all twelve workshops. There is no time limit for successful completion of the series.

The next STEP classes will be offered in May. Check back for more information.
